I believe that my role as a therapist is to create a safe, supportive, nonjudgmental, and empathetic space for clients, so that they can share their stories and experiences to process their unresolved issues in the past, finding better solutions for the current issues and developing skills for the future events.
I mainly use the integrative therapeutic approaches to be able to facilitate the process: CBT(Cognitive Behavior therapy), DBT(Dialectic Behavior therapy), ACT(Acceptance Commitment therapy), psycho dynamic theories for the individuals, Solution focused therapy, Brownian systemic therapy for the families and Emotionally focused therapy for the couples. In case of trauma, I added seeking safety modules, IFS(Internal Family Systems), CPT(Cognitive Process Therapy) and Poly Vagal Theory.
I think that as a human being, we are all different culturally. Integrating cultural elements in our psychological responses as well as integrating spiritual practices in our therapeutic process will be helpful to understand ourselves in a holistic way.

I love to play golf because it reminds me the importance of relaxing my body when there is a strong pressure.
How can we accept others when we don’t know that we are strangers to ourselves?
