After nearly a decade of practicing psychotherapy, I’ve realized that trust is the foundation of healing. I focus on creating a safe, compassionate environment where clients feel secure and confident in our therapeutic work together. Although there are shared human experiences, every individual has a unique story. I strive to be curious and collaborative, recognizing clients as the experts of their own lives and experiences.

As a trauma-informed therapist, I use IFS-informed EMDR therapy to promote rapid, effective healing from life experiences that have negatively impacted the mind and body. I also specialize in working with anxiety and OCD using ERP therapy, and incorporate ACT techniques to foster resilience and fulfillment in the face of life’s challenges. For couples and families, I use Structural Systems Therapy and Gottman techniques to promote harmony and compassion within our closest relationships.

I especially enjoy working with military members and their families, as well as the LGBTQ+ community, providing affirming care for diverse identities, cultural affiliations, and spiritual practices.

  • I grew up in a military family – Both (yes, both!) of my parents were officers in the United States Marine Corps. My two brothers, a brother-in-law, several uncles, and both grandfathers also served in the US military.
  • I enjoy diving into a good book, watching artistic films, playing video games, golfing, crafting and cooking. I love to travel and explore new cultures and learn new languages.
  • I have an identical twin sister!

Not everything that is faced can be changed, but nothing can be changed until it is faced.
