To help decrease the stress for your employees of moving to Korea, and to help your company avoid the incredible costs* of early departures, down time, and position replacement. . .

AHS offers Korea-specific training for your employees coming to Korea with a variety of plans available to choose from.  We also draw on our network of qualified trainers to prepare your employees as they leave Korea for another country (usually offered in English or Korean, but other languages may be available by request).

Equip your people through:

  • Pre-Departure Training -Phone and email correspondence will prepare the entire family for their move. From answering life in Korea questions (can you buy Cheese & Macaroni?) to preparing a manager to meet his or her Korean team.
  •

  • On-Arrival Training -A training session scheduled for a few weeks after arrival allows the family to experience their new home knowing that they will have an opportunity to ask specific questions in their personalized training session.
  •

  • Follow-up Throughout the Expat Lifecycle -A trainer will be assigned to an expat family and can be available throughout their stay, and will schedule regular check ups to ensure they are doing well. In this way, problems are noticed and can be addressed long before a family is ready to go home early.
  •

  • Cultural Empowerment Workshops -We offer cultural awareness, adjustment and empowerment workshops or consultations. Whether to increase your employee's awareness and abilities or to address an organizational difficulty, we have the solutions for you.

*The Cost of Early Employee Relocation
Moving to a new country has a steep learning curve for anyone. Moving to Korea is in no way an exception and for many is more difficult than other countries.
Providing your people with the knowledge they need to have a successful entry into Korea as well as ongoing follow-up will increase the likelihood of their success, and yours.

It is often estimated that replacing an employee costs the company very close to the equivalent of the individual's total salary. However this figure comes out of the United States and does not reflect the added costs of moving an expat and his or her family to a whole new country.

A small investment now can translate to incredible savings when assignees stay their full term or even renew to stay longer. Imagine not paying moving expenses for someone leaving early or the added expenses of their replacement. Imagine the down-time saved during a transition, or not needing to train a new person for the position.
