Background & Career

In education and career, Noreen has specialized in human behavior, motivation and interaction within larger systems and cultural milieus. Concerned with the optimal functioning of individuals as they transition through physical and emotional life stages, she looks to affect change at both the individual and organizational level.

She is currently the CEO of Adaptable Human Solutions (www.ahskorea.com) which provides consulting, coaching, and psychological services to individuals as well as to companies.  The latter is done on a stand alone basis and through formal Employee Adaptation and Wellness Iniatives (EAP programs) designed to enrich life and work.   The company's philosophy of utilizing a larger systemic approach is a good match for diverse populations, as well as allows the team to work simultaneously with both individuals and larger groups such as families or corporations to facilitate change.

Noreen has worked within both private and public-sector companies, in direct employment and in contractual work.  With extensive background in the provision of psychological and therapeutic services, she has often been approached to pioneer new programs and provide leadership.  Among other things, she has been the Clinical Director for a diverse service team, managed a small business with 60 employees, and provided supervision for graduate interns/clinicians pursuing further licensure.

Noreen is a Canadian who has been residing in Korea for 6 years.  She is active in several local organizations and is currently the Co-Chair of the Professional Women's Committee of the American Chamber of Commerce in Korea.  She is also the Canadian Representative on the Seoul Global Center Advisory Council and is a member of the International Coach Federation and Mensa Canada.
