Background
& Career
|
In education and career,
Jennifer has focused within the workplace as an avenue for wellness promotion
and life satisfaction. In the last ten years, Jennifer has worked in both
local and national EAP settings and has been given the opportunity to
understand work/life challenges from the viewpoints of both internal and external
models. She has provided EAP services to more than a dozen American Fortune
500 companies, as well as to small, family-owned businesses.
She is currently employed by the
internationally based company Adaptable
Human Solutions which provides consulting, coaching, and psychological
services to both individuals and organizations, across several continents.
Jennifer's philosophy of utilizing a larger systemic approach is both a good
match for diverse populations, as well as allows her to work simultaneously
with both individuals and larger groups such as families or corporations to
facilitate change. Her clinical caseload consists of expats from around the
globe, as well as Koreans seeking Western expertise. In the role of
International Director of Corporate Services, Jennifer provides consultation
to upper management and Human Resources regarding workplace issues and then
partners with the organization to implement any needed interventions (e.g.
training, coaching, Critical Incident Stress Management, etc.)
Prior to relocating to Seoul, Jennifer provided direct
face-to-face clinical services, provided clinical supervision for the
national 2004 EAP Digest/EAPA Quality Award for EAP Excellence winner, and
has managed a team of specialists providing consultation and partnership with
corporate champions to improve employee wellness and safety at their
respective workplaces. Jennifer remains active in several American social
organizations including American Mensa, as well as with local groups such as the American Women's
Club, Seoul International Women's Association, and the British Association of
Seoul.
